Be@rbrick Dr.Romanelli & Butcher Block
Since the day we got the hint that Medicom Toy is working with Dr.Romanelli for a new Be@rbrick, we always though they will only reissue the old design with the new colourway. Later, they show us a little part of the new design that look like a 400% Be@rbrick. So, we though the new design should look like the Converse Chuck Taylor and that should be a 400% Be@rbrick.
Now, they surprise us with a all new cool design of 400% Be@rbrick Dr.Romanelli and a set of 100% Be@rbrick Dr.Romanelli & Butcher Block. For those who stay in Japan, you should be able to start preorder these three Be@rbrick by 24th June 2008 at the official website of Be@rbrick. They should be limited to 800pcs worldwide and available in October 2008.
At this point of time, we still not sure what or who is “Butcher Block”. If any of you got any idea about “Butcher Block”, please drop us a note! Thank you!

[...] Dr. Romanelli’s website makes my eyes hurt, but his latest Be@rbricks make my jaw drop. Medicom Toy Co has done another collaboration (previous Be@rbricks at left) with the Doctor who is fresh off a successful Converse campaign. Dr. Romanelli used a transparent Be@rbrick to show the bear’s anatomy, and he signs it with a band-aid on the forehead. The Dr. Romanelli design is available as a 400% Be@rbrick as well as a set of 100% Be@rbricks accompanied by a third “Butcher Block” Be@rbrick.
